While home sales in Houston aren't quite as hot as in places like Austin and Dallas, the numbers are still far above what the city was experiencing this time last year. Median sale prices are up to nearly $300,000, and prices have appreciated 19% since May 2020. Fifty percent of homes sold above the listing price, up from 15% the year before as well.
